Chaos Chess doesn't have accounts, and it never asks for your name, email address, or any other personal details to play.

What the game stores

• Games on one screen run entirely in your browser. Nothing about them is sent anywhere.
• Online games are kept in the server's memory while they're being played. A game is deleted when nobody has been connected to it for 30 minutes, when both players leave, or when the server restarts. Games are never saved to a database.
• In your browser: when you join an online game, your browser saves the game code and a random token so you can get back to your seat if you refresh or lose connection. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
• Connections: while you're connected to an online game, the server necessarily knows your IP address so it can send you updates. The game doesn't record it. Like most websites, the hosting provider may keep basic technical logs, such as IP addresses and browser types, to keep the service running and secure.

Cookies

This site doesn't use cookies. The cookie banner in the "Cookie Consent" rule is a joke. It doesn't set cookies, track anything, or share any data with its "1,284 trusted partners."

Tips

The "Buy me a coffee" links go to Buy Me a Coffee, a separate site. Anything you send there, including payment details, is handled by that site under its own privacy policy. This site never sees your payment information.

Children

This site isn't directed at children under 13.

Your choices

Since there are no accounts, there's no personal profile to view or delete. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes everything the game stored on your device.
